codewright vhdl

Hi,

can somebody tell me what hardware programming languages Borland CodeWright supports? Does it support VHDL and Verilog??
Is somebody working with it, or knows somebody a better Editor for Hardware Languages (VHDL, Verilog) and software languages (C, C#, C++)??

THX for help, Phytex

codewright 7.5

hi,

I don't know about CodeWright, but I'm using Visual slickedit, and have
been for a long time. Support for VHDL, Verilog, C, C#, C++ and more.

Download the evaluation at www.slickedit.com and check it out.

Diablo

CodeWright doesn't suport VHDL or Verilog. you can turn to a soft named HDL turbo writer which has OEM CodeWright.

Codewright supports both VHDL and Verilog. The templates are not included with the install. You have to download them from Starbase directly.

Hi,

I have tested it with the PlugIns from Starbase, but I don't think that the VHDL / verilog Support is very well. I have tested it with the same VHDL File on SlickEdit and CodeWright and I think SlickEdit is better! It can find the definitions of Signals and show me Funktions and Processes in the Projectbrowser automatic.
I know TurboWriter, but I'm programming in VHDL / Verilog and C and I don't like it to install a lot of compilers / editors on my system.
