hi! I'm going to design power supply schematic that will be like this :
ATX PSU -> BOOST CONVETOR (12-30V) -> STEP DOWN SWITCHING REGULATOR -> CONSTANT CURRENT CIRCUIT -> OUTPUT
so the only problem I have is will this boost controller :
**broken link removed**
will work? it is rated for 30V 3A but this is so small will it actually handle 90W? if yes than good, also if someone here have other solution for stepping up voltage that will work better than this I would really appricate it. sorry for my bad english.

Where do you see this rating? You are confusing boost converter output current with switch transistor peak current. About 30 W is the absolute limit with 12 V input voltage.

thats because the site I was using to find the boost convertor said it was 3A -_-, sry.
anyway you got anything that CAN hadle 3A? any dc/dc convertor that is pretty common and cheap? im trying to find one.
