Hi,

I got the document of programming or interfacing the parallel port in VB .In that they had maentioned the BOIS and DOS interrupts and its usage.I want to know whether these BOIS and MS-DOS interrupts are used because they want to do the communication with printer. Here am interfacing one PCB not a printer. For this PCB whether i need to use BOIS and MS-DOS interrupts.or else its common for parallel port interfacing and programming.here am using windows Xp operating system.Kindly clarify my doubts.

Thanks in advance!
