I would like to present project of universal boiler controller. Priority for me was to make us much universal controller us it is possible, that makes it useful piece of home apparatuses. Most important function is control at facilities of small boiler room ( boiler, solar panel, pumps, DW, floor heating). Functions of the controller are controlling by dedicated gallery ( Best one is RS485 but you can choose different). Control at boiler apparatuses through eBUS gallery ( Vaillant boilers) and GeniBus (electronic Grundfoss pumps). Computer role is just to have friendship interface, that let you make setups, which is difficult using simple interface of the controller. That way you can also make a backup. The boiler controller have interface that let to communicate with user – colorful graphic LCD + encoder for chose the setups. I wanted to make a controller that could fit in to the standard DIN rail. While need to use more IO ( for example more 230V tools) easy to extend chip set for simple expander boards – also for DIN rail.
