In chapter 14 one Case study for JPEG Compression by Behavior synthesis

It's possible and easy to impletement the VHDL in behavior and compiled into RTL by synopsys behavior compiler for this algorithm base application.

Continue the above post . I attached the behavior example in the book's accompany CD . You can compile it in synopsys's BC to get RTL.

I have searched JPEG library for ARM.
Independant JPEG group source is very big and powerful. Bu I need more compact model even if quality is not good. Does anybody help me ?

I have no the pdf ebook . You can post to ebook request to ask somebody's help . It's one of two reference books in synopsys BC document . Another one is
"Behavioral synthesis"
Digital system design using the synopsys behavioral compiler
by David W.Knapp publish by Prentice Hall PTR
Both books contain several examples related to algorithm base applications .
