Hello,
When creating a system to drive a BLDC Hub motor, I know that the back EMF waveform inside the motor should match the motor driving technique. For example, if the motor's back EMF waveform is sinusoidal, the motor driving technique should also be sinusoidal. However, today I reviewed the datasheet of a BLDC hub motor, and it suggests that it would be better to drive a motor with sinusoidal back EMF using a trapezoidal motor driver. I need to clearly understand this situation. Why do you think they might have written this?
