It is a project of binary clock in stationary version. The clock operates in 24-hours mode. From the top: hours, minutes and seconds. In the hours row one diode is unnecessary, because 23 in binary system takes 5 positions, although it was left as a kind of decoration. In the bottom, additional two diodes light on the hour by 60 seconds. Reading time is carried out in the following way: you have to add „active” powers of two, ie when end diodes are lit, it will be 2^5 (left) and 2^0 (right), or 32+1.
Electronics is based on well known Atmega8 supported by RTC PCF8583 (quartz 32kHz), supply based on LM7805 and three buttons for time setting.
Multiplexed display, both columns and rows controlled by transistors.
Half of the clock is THT and half is SMD, because the whole was intended to be through-hole, but a panel with SMD diodes looks better.
