Hi brothers!
I need one device reference, an bidirectional MOS switch for control charger in GR64 module (SonyEricsson GSM/GPRS module). This module has one power input/output (batt pin) for power supply (the same pin has current draw and source) the I need disable it for switch off the module (in some cases is necessary disconnect power supply from the module). Anyone know one device for this application?
Thanks a lot, Gorkin

I guess you can use complementary transistors serially connected with diodes connected in parallel . Each one of them will handle the one direction of the current .
The drawback is high drop voltage = Vdrop_ON + Vdrop_Diode. Or one transistor connected in output of diode bridge rectifier the Vdrop = Vdrop_ON + 2*Vdrop_Diode.

Or may be you can find Solid state relay with needed characteristics

or another example :

Hi,
I am need BIDIRECTIONAL MOS SWITCH...
In few words: In my applcation, one GSM Module management the battery charge, the battery is connected in one specif pin in GSM module, when in charge, the current flow in one direction when in discharge, the current flow in contrary direction...for reset, I need disconnect this pin...but I cannot find one solution with MOS conventional swicth. I cant use the solution mentioned by artem brother because the voltage dop on diode will cause error in battery module management...

Thanks, Gorkin.
