Hi,

In the attachment, what is actually the function of bias voltage Vbiasn?? When we use negative bias voltage(Vbiasn) and postive bias voltage (Vbiasp).

The circuit is taken from R.Jacob Baker's book or cmosedu.com (Fig27_6a)

Hi,
there is nothing like negative bias here, the terminology vbiasn and vbiasp means bias voltage for nmos and pmos devices.

Hi kickbeer,
I didn't go through the pdf. But generally the biasing a transistor means, provide a VG which can keep the device in saturation or linear depending on the need/requirement.
Usually the transistors are biased to be in saturation, so that it can be made to operate close to a current source.
