What would be the best type of discarded electronics goods to find mosfets?

You often get small mosfets with a drain source voltage of 200V - 250V and around 10A continuous drain current in TV circuit boards.

But very rarly do you find mosfets of higher voltage or higher current ratings.

Any suggestions?

I do not work in power electronics, but I would suggest if you are looking for discarded mosfets rated higher then 250V and 10A, that you try to think of a very high power application. One I can think of is the electric dryer, another might be an ac unit.or any other household device that would require its own circuit on a circuit breaker.
