Hi,
I will buy a new high-performance server to run professional IC EDA tools such as Cadence, and Synopsys.
AMDs are cost-effective but I have some doubts.

To divide the problem into small pieces, I can ask the following points:

1. Are there any performance degradation when IC EDA tools run on the AMD Epyc Processor family?
Any comparison btw Intel and AMD server processors?

2. A larger cache thanks to 3D-V cache technology (AMD EPYC 7373X) results in %66 better RTL verification performance, as AMD stated.
Can we expect such a performance improvement also for analog spice simulations with this technology?

Thanks in advance if you share your experiences...
