Previously i was etching pcbs in a plastic tray with ferric chloride. but ferric chloride is a dirty business. i now i have made my etching tank so i want an etching solution which is long lasting and easily available in chemical stores???.

i have seen green solution on Google through with you can see unlike ferric chloride which is quite good for analyzing pcb development process.

what about this solution, he discussed the chemicals also : http://www.adwiens.com/projects/ensure/2/index.html

For the benefit of your health, I suggest not to mix your own etchant without sufficient knowledge of chemistry. And not to use hydrochloric acid/peroxide solutions without a fume hood and safety glasses. The quoted recipe is dangerous in so far as it doesn't mention the concentration of the base chemicals.
