Presented design is a device for lighting bends and roadside. It provides additional light for bends using front fog lights.

This device is controlled with direction indicator. A few flashes of the indicator turns on the halogen. Turning on and off is done with a delay. If you want, you can create your own control which uses the steering wheel.

Adding voltage maintaining capacitor and writing program, you can solve the problem of capturing the indicator signal – long flashes and measuring their number. A micro switch is used for setting the time between flashes of the indicator.

The driver is based on microcontroller Attiny26, which controls the lamps via PWM, and the signal from the indicators goes to A/C converter. Program was written in Bascom.
