rtos basics

i have a new career for embedded system design using rtos but i do not know what rtos meaning for embedded system

i am a expert in using asssembler and c language for embedded systems

my quesion is how can i understand rtos for embedded systems from level zero
(for beginners)

It has documentation that gives you the basics of task switching and multitasking.
It has examples that use mplab sim logic analyzer that show when tasks are running. You dont need any hardware to run the examples, they all run in mplab sim.
Should give you the basics of rtos systems.

Why dont you port the code yourself as a nice learning exercise.
Or visit free rtos website for 8051 code.
