can anyone please tell me what is the purpose of bc109c transistor.....where can i use it....??

It is a small signal NPN transistor with very high current gain. You can use it for many different purposes. BC547 is more popular now, but a BC109 can do anything a BC547 can do.

BC109 transistor had very low noise and was in an obsolete metal case. It was replaced by the BC549 in an epoxy case about 38 years ago. They were used in a discrete audio preamp circuit for audio phonographs and audio tape decks.
Today a low noise opamp is used instead.

A bit like the 555 a BC109 will probably be with us for quite some time.
A very handy thing to have lying about if you do any sort of disrete design.
