Hello,

I am currently designing a bidirectional DC-DC converter, which basically works as a buck mode when the battery is charging, and works as a boost mode when discharging. The circuit looks just like a buck converter with lead acid battery as a output. The battery charges when there is enough input energy(from PV or something), the battery discharges when the input is not high enough.

I want to simulate this in cadence or Hspice, is there any Hspice model for this specific battery? I want between 44V to 56V Valve-regulated Lead Acid battery. If any of you guys have experience using this type or similar type of battery for simulation purpose, please let me know.

Thank you so much in advance,

Tyler
