i have a panasonic cordless phone some what like this :**broken link removed** which doesnot charges when connected to base, the phone screen is blank.
actually i am using after a long time & so i checked the o/p voltage from the charger it showed correct o/p.
So it's sure that rechargable batteries have damaged.
In documentation they have mentioned that panasonic batteries are required. Can't we use any china made batteries with same ratings?

Those cheap phones use an old Ni-Cad battery that does not last long. I replaced the Ni-Cad battery in my cordless phone with a modern Ni-MH replacement battery made by Philips and it works much better.
Match the size and connector of the battery with a replacement battery.

i actually could charge the phone batteries using another charger like this one: https://www.dhresource.com/albu_768...ale-aa-aaa-1-2v-ni-mh-ni-cd-smart-battery.jpg and they got charged and also worked properly for a while when i put them back on my phone but, did not charge when i connected the phone to it's base to recharge the batteries. hence, again i had to remove the battery & charge them on the charger shown above. So actually batteries are at no fault the phone charger is at fault.
When i checked the o/p voltage from the charger once again, the voltage was fluctuating from 1v-5v (but the rating behind the charger is written as 6.5v).
just yesterday the voltage read by my meter was 6.5v showing constant voltage but, know voltage is fluctuating.
what may be the possibility that this phone may work properly know!!
