if you know the distortion characteristic of your circuit you can pre-distort the input signal in order to have a cumulative linear transfer funtion.
It works fine evenwith quite non-linear circuits and the pre-distortion can be made in digital domain ....
Well, just use the convenient filter in the low-power part of the system.
But if the signal is some kind of phase modulation there are much easier
ways of "linearising" the system. For example, amplifying the signta until
saturating the amplifier and filter the harmonics.
predistortion is one of the best methods for linearizing a power amplifier and include baseband predistortion and RF predistortion.
