base current value of a transistor

I could not figure out how I should calculate the base current of the transistor below. I would very appreciate if someone could explain how I can calculate it?

What you have drawn there, it does not make sense.
The BE junction of the transistor gets 16V, assuming it is in the forward direction. A silicon diode in the forward direction takes only about 0.6V - 0.7V
16V surely will destroy the transistor.
