Hi guys,
bandpass filters consist of alternating series and parallel resonators.
To avoid one type of resonator in microwave realization of bandpass filters, J and K inverters are used instead.
In this sence:
K inverters replace parallel resonators and are used with series res.
J inverters replace series resonators and are used with parallel res.
What about a side coupled microstrip bandpass filter:
e.g. **broken link removed**
Is it halfwave SERIES or PARALLEL resonators with each quarterwave coupled line section as K-INV. or J-INV. ???
