Hello, I am new to programming and would appreciate any helps from the forum. I use Window XP. I want to automatically refresh and check for updates posted on an external webpage (e.g. spec update from X to Y) and then be notified of the update by sending an email, text message, or by a sound beep etc.
Any ideas on what program language, scripts can do this? any sample code will be great (preferably for Window OS).
