I am currently working on a design that requires switching between a power source connected through a barrel jack and a battery. Right now, I am using a MOSFET for this, but I'm wondering if there are any ICs available that can automatically switch to the battery if the power jack stops providing power, and that also let me set the priority.
As a beginner in electronic circuit design, I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions!
