It is an automatic dispenser for soldering paste. The main assumptions of the project were the small size, convenience of use and cheap.

The principle of operation:
Compressed air from the compressor is given to the pressure reducer. Then it is connected to the powering input of the solenoid valve. There is a conical air damper at the output to the atmosphere. The output of the solenoid valve is connected to the syringe. The valve can be electrically controlled, opened by pressure (for that model of the valve, opened at approximately 2,2 bar), closed by pressure and supported by a spring. The valve is normally closed. At the moment of giving the voltage to the solenoid's coil, air is pumped into the syringe. After loss of pressure, the syringe is connected to the atmosphere. Operation of the device is quite simple.

Components:
  • 240/24V 20VA transformer
  • housing
  • adapter for the syringe
  • Prem valve ZMG 22.0703.3214B
  • bulkhead connectors dia 6
