It is a construction of audio mixer based on AVT kits. Housing was made of adapted for that purpose radio tuner Radmor 5122. The main assumption was to use as most original holes as it is possible to make the mixer look easthetically and its support to be intuitive. Radio scale was used as a meter, stereo indicator as „standby diode”. The scale of the signal strength was pitched with metal tape.
Each block of the device is placed on separate PCB. They were mounted to the bottom board of the material similar to plexiglass. Two blocks of the mixer consist of AVT-2710 kits. Gramophone preamplifier was based on AVT-2680 kit. Using kits provides the correct parameters and shortens the time of making the construction. Other blocks are: standby, power supply with meters on LM3914, logic and relays block and linear power supply block. The power system is split. There is a common transformer 2x12V 1,1A. Voltage from a single tap is filtered by 22000uF capacitor and stabilized. It powers the blocks of mixers, block of gramophone preamplifier and linear amplifier block. Another tap powers the further circuits. Power facilitates subsequent expansion.
Features:
- 6 inputs controlled by relays through logic with on/off switch
- 2 microphone, 1 gramophone, 3 universal inputs
- RCA double output Din5 for easier connection with Radmor
- treble and bass adjustment at the output
- teble and bass adjustment for each microphone separately
- volume adjustment for each input
- supply main switch
- standby function
- stereo 2x8 LED meter, backlit by 4 yellow LEDs
