hi Guys:
i have been built a four-stage amplifier operating in 2.3GHz to 2.4GHz,which peak output power at the 1dB gain compression point is approximately 500W....Its final stage consists of four balanced 120W BJT.
Behaviroal modeling of the high power amplifer is my next work.as u konwn,it is very useful to simulate the system level performance of power amplifiers using a simple behavioral or mathematical model. After some basic test, something's up..the asymmetry of the IMD spectra disturbed me and how can i avoid it?
i learned about that the behaviroal modeling need AM-AM and AM-PM characteristics...but i'm a newbie in measurement field..plz give some tips about AM-AM and AM-PM's measurement for me... another question is
how can i model the PA using AM-AM and AM-PM...if i wanna to use the model in ADS,i need do what?
plz give me more details.....thanx alt!!!!!!!!
best regards.....
