Hi guys, I am doing a MCU Design then I am drawing the PC Poard for the whole circuit. Someone told me that I should connect the pins which are not used to the GND or VDD. For example, in the 14-pin MSP430 chip, I just use 7 of them and the other 7 pins is not used. Should I let them be float or connect them to the VDD or GND? Thank you for helping me out!

just leave them floating

I don't use the MSP430, but would suppose it has internal pull ups, so leaving disconnected would not be a problem. Good general logic practice though is not leave floating pins, inputs in particular.
