I need some info about ASIC technology migration, how can we accomplish this and what are the methodologies followed to do it.
Do backend tools such as Mag*ma do it automatically.

You need go back to re-synthesis, then go through the whole flow.
If your new technology's library is compatible with the old one, just skip synthesis.

it depends on your starting point. Once i did it by building a cross library by hand, e.g. by mapping the cells of the old library in cells of the new one.
But i think that Synopsys DC Compiler can handle this for you, supposing
you have compatible libraries

they provide some process migration tools .

I know that it is possible to do it.I would like to know the exact design flow in which it is done.
