Solaris on intel

hi ,
I wanted to know if the synopsys tools are platform dependant.
which means if i am running solaris on an intel machine can i install synopsys tools which were meant for solaris?
or are they specifically for sparc ?

Re: Solaris on intel

Usually the SOLARIS CADS run only on SPARC machines .. where there is a little TRADITIONAL market .I don't think that INTEL SOLARIS worstation are enough to stimulate porting COMPLEX software to IT ..Better go with LINUX ..

Re: Solaris on intel

intel solaris wont run synopsys linux and solaris version tools
it was developed only for sparc processor
i must move to linux
enjoy
