Are Intel Core 2 processors compatible with Linux and Cadence?

Hello
I intend to buy a labtop and I wonder if intel core 2 due processor compatable with linux and cadence , i.e. if installing linux and cadence will face problems with this processor???, and is a vga card 256 nvidia GF 7400 will not cause problem with linux and cadence installation??

I think Core 2 Due is compatable with linux and Cadence. You can buy it.
