I intend to do a project based on the attached file .I do not understand how to set the current time and date . need help

Hi,

I can't open .rar files on my old tablet..

But you could explain the problem more detailed.
What's the problem exactly?

Time_source --> UNO hardware --> UNO firmware --> I2C --> RTC
Which compiler and which libraries do you use.

I guess you are not the first one connecting an RTC to an UNO. Did you search for documents, code, ...to see how others did it?

Hello!
Same here on my mac, I can't open the file. I have already uesd DS1390 (if I remember correctly)
and it was pretty straightforward.

I have attached the text file here.
I am using arduino IDE 1.8.16 for compile. DS3231 RTC connect to SCL (A5) and SDA (A4)
DS3231.h library also used. The time and date are shown on the screen but it is not the current time and date .I do not understand how to set it up.
