Apllications for voltage regulator

Hi,
I was analyzing a voltage regulator/follower/buffer. I was wondering where such circuits would be used? The input is a 1 v DC and the output is also a 1V DC. The BANDWIDTH WAS 50 MHZ WITH A OFFSET OF LESS THAN 200micro V.
I am looking for specific applications.

If you need a clean 1v power supply, you should use the voltage regular to generate it.
