Hi all,

MPC8260 is a very powerful , communication microprocessor.

Has anyone worked with any of Motorola MPC82xx? I have some problems with it's Burst Accsses to it's memories.I want to use it's UPM, over Local bus to an external memory.

Or can anyone pls point me to a mailing list , or a forum where i can ask my questions about such microprocessors?

Are you using a reference board or is this your own design?

You can always check out the Linux and NetBSD ports to the PowerQUICC II platform if you want to take a look at how initial setup of SDRAM and serial console is made.
