Anyone built the elektor USB programmer?

Hi there, i've view the site, and its says it need avrdude, which is Linux base i think. Any other software which can downlaod hex file to the usb programmer? Is it compatible with avrstudio which is windows base?

Elektor says more will be supported in the future, including PIC and ATmega... I am still waiting for that promise to be kept with their last PIC programmer though :roll:
