Any Simulation software available for IR sensor based Line Follower?

I am wondering if there exists any software/tool that would take a track with its specified dimensions as input, simulate a (IR Sensors Based) Line follower bot on the given track to test if the code functions correctly and if the bot finishes the whole track or not.

If such kind of thing existed, it would definitely save a lot of tedious work. I believe there might be something like that, after few hours of google searching. But I am kind of confused as all of them look really complicated.

If anybody knows any such kind of tool/software, please let me know.

Though I had not tested for line following robot but you can use Proteous with Infrared Library for simulation.
