Any paper about the monitor circuit of power switch current?

There can be a small resistor to convert the current to voltage, but I think there must be a better circuit than that, can anyone give me instruction, thank you.

hi,
try MAXIM chips....

like MAX4080.......

depends upon your current u can use Rsense value....150mR or 100mR.....(2512FP)

usually it is hard to find the required sense resistor....to use them either in parallel or series.....

u can get good resistor from Phycomp

But what I need is the circuit different from using resisitor, and I have pushed help me button for your warm-hearted.

is this good idea for you to use...
OPAMP based I to V convertor.....

or you are looking for something else.... ??
