Hi all,

I am going to design a pair of Tx and RX at 868MHz. Can anyone suggest me a chip for this purpose?

I prefer the chip use ASK as it can save half of power, also the current consumption is as low as possible.

Thank You

Best rgds.

Macccccc

Venture Technologies makes a board with a Micrel RF500 and a microprocessor onboard. Works well.

If you want to go for a standardised solution, try the IEEE 802.15.4 devices:

or ATMEL

chipcon has transceivers some of them are in ZigBee™ family

Yes, but none at 868MHz :)

All the best

A true single-chip narrowband RF Transceiver
The CC1020 is the industry's first single-chip FSK/ASK CMOS RF transceiver that meet the stringent requirements of multi-channel narrowband applications. The circuit is mainly intended for the ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) and SRD ( Short Range Device) frequency bands at 426, 429, 433, 868 and 915 MHz, but can easily be programmed at other frequencies in the 402-470 and 804-940 MHz range

Added after 2 minutes:

they have wide operation bands

CC1050 Single chip ultra low power RF Transmitter for the 315/433/868/915 MHz SRD Band
CC1021 A multichannel FSK/ASK CMOS RF transceiver for narrowband applications, with channel spacings of 50 kHz or higher, in the 402-470 and 804-940 MHz range
CC1020 The industry's first single-chip FSK/ASK CMOS RF transceiver for narrowband applications in the 402-470 and 804-940 MHz range
CC1010 The industry's first integrated 300-1000 MHz RF Transceiver and microcontroller
CC1000 Single chip ultra low power RF Transceiver for the 315/433/868/915 MHz SRD Band
CC900 Single Chip High Performance RF Transceiver, 800-1000MHz
CC400 Single Chip High Performance RF Transceiver, 300-500MHz
