Can anyone help me with some thing about RTLinux.I'm heading for RTLinux as a beginer with linux :roll:

c´mon...how about googling for "rtlinux howto" ?

Returns shitloads of links... (o;

And why you want to start with rtlinux if you´re not familiar with linux itself? RTLinux is just a set of patches to include sort of realtime capabilities to the irq handler...

There are many variants of RT implementation available for Linux, all with different advantages, do a little research and choose whichever suits your purpose.

Check these links for more info on RT Linux.

RT Linux is nothing but Linux with real time flavour so it will be better u take the basics of real time and start working on that and If u will ask any perticular question then it will be easy to reply...

Here you can find some tutorials, examples and a comparison between RTLinux and RTAI. (Some documents in spanish)

If you do not know Linux well do not jump to RTlinux

there is a saying way to the top is only through ladder of hard work but pleas climb the ladder 1 step at a time else you may have a nasty fall

good luck
