I am doing an Bench Mark evaluatuation between Synopsys' Hercules, StarRCXT and Cadence's Assura. Any experienced user input is very aprreciated.

It's very expensive for Herculus , assura . If you are doing extract rc only , you should choose star-rcxt .
The others have more functions than extract rc ( drc , lvs , lpe ) .

Hi, all
where can I find the basic material of Assura/Herculas?
Thanks.
Now I am doing some backend work, but know little.

Assura

Hi

i think if u want to know the basic flow of assura,
parasim.pdf(help file) is sufficient. It gives u the flow from drc, lvs, extraction etc.

With regards

HBK

assura is not officially supported by Foundry, cadence maintain the runset. Hercules should be good choice, in my case, variation is around 5% between post-layout sta result and real chip. Any input for xCalibre?
