Newbie level 1
Hello Everyone,
I'm new in ANSYS MAXWELL and Electromagnetic. Recently I'm curious about modeling a simple generator in this software. I built a model of generator with a simple coil and permanent magnet (PM). I'v chosen Magnetostatic solver for this simulation. I parametricaly moved the PM reciprocally (like a piston) through the coil. I analysed the model by Optimetrics setup. In 0.1 second the PM moves back and force one time. I attached the results.
Here is my question:
1- I want to know does the model include Back-EMF in simulation?
2- If I simulate the generator in Transient mode, the Result will be different or not? (Should I simulate it in Transient mode?)

Thanks in advance.
