ANSYS (HFSS) sold to Synopsis

Perusing the fallout of the Nvidia GPU/AI conference today, i notice that Synopsis announced it purchased ANSYS, and is working to include AI LLMs into its software. Wonder if that includes HFSS?

I HOPE they keep supporting HFSS!

It's a long process and having worked for a US company that changed stationary with names a few times, there will be some casualties with the merger.

I watched part of the long Nvidia keynote presentation. I had no idea their older GPU weighed 3 thousand pounds and the new one , hoowah.

Parts of it were certainly eye opening, and the presentation style was good. But did anyone else think the CEO could be an AI anime, as the jokes were just as bad as chatGPT... j/k
