Like a lot of people asking questions here, I am very new to HFSS and FEA in general. I want to model the electromagnetic coupling between 2 coils and measure the current output as a result. Here is my model:
Where the large coil is the primary/poller coil and the top coil is a proposed receiver coil with a ferrite core and tin terminals. Simulation only returns the error below:
[error] Port refinement, process hf3d error: Mesh segments could not be obtained for an edge of terminal Cylinder4_Split1_T1 assigned to port 1.. Please contact Ansys technical support.
The port in question is a terminal wave port attached end of to the straight wire that is on the boundary of the model. I've put in defined meshes everywhere but still get the error. Have I done anything obviously wrong?
