There are a lot of projects like this one.
Lamps I already had. Frame construction is not perfect, I’m not good in this. I’m thinking how to make it better.
Construction describe:
Power 9-12V ( current collection about 200mA, fuse 315mA), lamps about 160V through well known converter NE555. Microcontroller is Atmeg8. DS1307 plugged to microcontroller by I2C bus. Battery power backup with a little help from CR2032. At the same bus is also thermometer ADT75 (in SO8). Everything fly nice. Dynamic lamps control (multiplex) cathodes re controlled by old 74141 in Russian version. Anodes are controlled by two transistors: SGSP239 and BF493. First one is MOSFET that I found at the net.’493 is well known.
Clock consist alarm, I made 2 verions. At first signal is pursued by 5V buzzer that is connected straight with processor pin via 22R resistor, to makes it nicer. Second is without sound. Thanks to DS1307 there is date, and auto winter/summer time change, and night dimmer option.
5V voltages for logic is from 7805.
Boards are in “sandwich” system that means 15 pins ( 4 to control 74141 +2 to power +4 do anodes + high voltage +3 for buttons+ mass for buttons) Boards ordered in Merkar company.
I already had LC513 lamps and wanted to use them. They are set on board and rotated about 5* for better effect. Clock works as it should.
