Analog switch : Polarity of switched voltages

Please confirm that it doesnt matter about the respective polarity of the voltages on either side of the switch?

Hi,

I do not find anything that speaks against it. The "R_ON vs. V_COM and Dual Supply Voltage" figure on page 5 indicates the usage of the COM pin as an input and output by means of sinking and sourcing a current.

It appears similar to the 4066 IC (quad bilateral switch) which is able to convey AC.
