It is a home made amplifier based on TDA2050. All PCBs of this project were made in thermal transfer method on a chalky paper using iron. Housing consists of 1,5mm thick plate and front panel was made of 5mm aluminum plate. The frame was made of angles of 1mm thick bent tin covered plate. Descriptions on front and rear panel were laser engraved. The amplifier is powered from a transformer 2x14,4V (after rectifying and filtering – about 20V) and power of 100W. Supply filtering is equal 2x13600uF. The transformer is shielded by an aluminum can and all the signal cables are in shielded cables, what almost totally eliminates hum. The amplifier is also equipped with delayed switching system of the speakers and drive indicator. Preamplifier is on low-noise transistors BC547 and has bass and treble control.
