It is a useful amplifier based on TDA1516Q. The construction itself is quite cheap, because most of the elements can be found in an average workshop.

Housing:
Housing was made of aluminum sheet – front, top and back, perforated sheet – bottom and two planks milled from the bottom.

Aluminum sheet was cut with guillotine, then visible parts were sanded and varnished, so as to obtain the effect of brushed aluminum.
Side planks were milled from the bottom (approximately 1mm), so the perforated sheet is not visible from the sides, and then painted with mordant and lacquered to shine. Home made volume knob's construction was inspired by a knob of Radmor 5102 (the same size), made on a lathe, then sanded and varnished.

Electronics:
System on TDA1516Q with inputs selector on a relay is a well known solution.

Interface:

There is a switch mounted behind 250V connector, because there is only stand-by in front.
