amd 64 3000+ & matlab 7 problem

Hi! I've got problem with my matlab 7. It seems that crashes at start (at initializing) without any warnings.
Matlab 7 [R14]
amd athlon 64 3000+ socket 754
Winows Xp professional [sp1]

Try these.

First: Disable all anti-virus/anti-spyware softwares, and try to open matlab again.

Second: install Java Platform(www.java.com) for you PC.
 

...I switched to 6.5 that works fine...btw tnx for solution....
 

You need do download servicepack for matlab ( i think this will upgrade your matlab 7 to matlab 7.1).... The problem is with 64 bits arhitecture...I think this is solution on your problem...
