Need help on an AM TRANSMITTER circuit or design having a carrier of 535Khz-1605Khz that can have a power of 10 to 100 mW and can use 9 to 12V of supply.

Re: AM Transmitter

@IanP
Do u know how to include a digital display on its frequency carrier?

Re: AM Transmitter

To display its frequency you will need to amplify/buffer the signal that is going to the antenna, devide it by 100 and use 4-digit frequency counter with, say, 0.1s time base at the gate. This can be designed using conventional TTL/CMOS circuits or a microcontroller.

Re: AM Transmitter

Im planning to use XR2206..as my modulator..do u have any supporting datas on my project?

Re: AM Transmitter

Any other circuits that is available?What about using XR2206 do u have a circuit for it that can be used in AM transmitter?I just want a simple circuit for me to understand how it works!

Re: AM Transmitter

For XR2206 as AM modulator use FIG.12 of it's data sheet: **broken link removed**
and apply audio to pin 1 (input impedance ≈100kΩ) through a 1-10kΩ variable resistor.
The frequency display may be connected to the square wave output..

IanP
