Hello,
I have strange problem in Altium PCB 2D and 3D display. Silkscreen (designators and other strings) are acting crazy:
I'll give an example of the problem.
Let's look at this string with date (2014-03-20). While it stays outside of the board everything is ok:

When I try to move it back on the board, it starts to disappear:

When I is all on the board, it disappears at all:

If I try to move it around, it destroys the other strings (there should also be "watch_v1" and "main board" strings written above the date):

All other designators are acting in a similiar way. In 3D I get the same result.
One more thing: when zoomed out very much, these strings appear again.
I have tried going through the options, but with no luck.
Maybe someone could help me?

Sounds like a graphics driver problem, not unheard of with cad packages that tend to stree the graphics stack in different ways to the games that are usually used to test such things.

Often downloading the latest drivers for your graphics card will sort it.

Failing that, try switching Altium to not use direct X (Performance will **** but it may help narrow down the problem).

Regards, Dan.
