Open the ethernet connector from library file
Enable all layers by using menu "Tools" -> "Layers & Colors...". Click on "All Layers ON"
You should be able to view the hidden track by now. Click and delete the unwanted track

To place the mechanical pins, use menu "Place" -> "Pad" to insert a pad

Hope this helps

That is not a track, that is drc marker. why that is coming with that much line length

It may be 'Fill' which is touching the pad in top left corner. This causes DRC error.

Can you detail the steps you follow?

If it is a DRC marker then check you Preference settings for DRC marker size but it seems or to be a track which is giving drc error because it is shorting pins of connector to Mounting hole.

There is no option like mechanical pins in Altium you cab define as other pins aand give them any Pin name as to differentiate it from electical pins (I use to define "0" pin munber)
