Hello everyone,

I would like to seek advice on the proper way to doing back annotation with Altium Designer.
What is the proper way to update a schematic from PCB with net name changes?

In pcb,tools...> Re Annotate, there itself select particular position press ok here one .WAS file will be generate, After that go to schematics tools...> back annotate schematics then select corresponding .WAS file. and press Accept changes. Just show in below images

Hi,

Tools/Re-annotate
In PCB Editor
Design/update schematics go to schematics compile it.

Again In Schematic Editor
Design/update PCB

I am getting 0kb .WAS file generated from the Re-annotate command execution.
It won't allow me to back annotate the schematic. Is there a missing setup?

Oh! But re annotate should be generate .was file with data, can i share ur pcb ?
